Ages ago, I bought a copy of the Star Fleet Technical Manual (the 1975 edition with the plastic pocket for the title card on the cover). It had no store price tag and the kid at the comic book store sold it to me for the cover price, $5. The next week, they had another one, with a store price tag of $25. Heh.
