this is a great website--run by the reporter who broke the iran-contra story. i bought his book on the bush dynasty, 'secrecy and privilege'--about 1/4 of the way through it now, it's quite revealing. for instance, i never knew that reagan et al. deliberately undermined the carter administration's efforts to release the american embassy hostages in iran during the 1980 campaign. - Sean O'Hanley

So, he wants Israel to be removed from the "page of time" not the "map." That clears it up, doesn't it? Changes everything. - Michael Markman
From the lucid Jonathan Steele: "The fact that he compared his desired option - the elimination of "the regime occupying Jerusalem" - with the fall of the Shah's regime in Iran makes it crystal clear that he is talking about regime change, not the end of Israel. As a schoolboy opponent of the Shah in the 1970's he surely did not favour Iran's removal from the page of time. He just wanted the Shah out. The same with regard to Israel. The Iranian president is undeniably an opponent of Zionism or, if you prefer the phrase, the Zionist regime. But so are substantial numbers of Israeli citizens, Jews as well as Arabs. The anti-Zionist and non-Zionist traditions in Israel are not insignificant. So we should not demonise Ahmadinejad on those grounds alone." - Sean McBride
By the way, I would be quite happy to see all Muslim fundamentalist regimes disappear from "the page of time" -- as well as all theocracies and ethnocracies. - Sean McBride

Towards a neoconservative dictatorship and police state: "Family Security Matters a neo-conservative based think tank has published an article advocating that George W. Bush should be a dictator for life. The organization has since taken the article down, but is still viewable via this cached link." - Sean McBride
Whoa. This is insanity multiplied. I'd call that moron a terrorist and stick him in Guantanamo Bay. - Raoul Pop
Raoul - advocates of state terrorism "hate our freedoms." They are not even subtle about their agenda. - Sean McBride

Towards a neoconservative dictatorship and police state -- the signs of intent are visible everywhere, but few Americans are paying attention. - Sean McBride

Again, McCain wants a NEOCONSERVATIVE military dictatorship -- the American military establishment overall strongly disagrees with the neoconservative agenda -- witness Mike Mullen's and the JCS's opposition to an American and/or Israeli attack on Iran. - Sean McBride

Ingraham -- one of the most appalling human beings in the appalling MSM. That whiny, nasal voice sets all the dogs howling here and far. Rupert Murdoch and his associates have created a culture of stupid thugs and nearly erased all intelligent discourse from American public life -- thus the disaster in Iraq and the collapsing American economy. - Sean McBride
