I think the iPhone has already fulfilled the net computer 'dream'. (Especially if it comes in a tablet form soon as rumored?). It's part of its awesomeness :)

Not to mention Darien Dash (Jay-Z's cousin) being on TV in 1999, next to Steve Case & Bill Gates yelling "NC not PC." Talikng about being ahead of his time. If anybody is listening I'd love to contact Darien.

Thing is, they've been predicting "the network is the computer" for the better part of 30 years. It's not new.

alphaxion - I remember the dumb terminals when I worked summers at the Pentagon. Green-screen things that talked to the main server. This somehow seems different, eh?
