It's a safety precaution, I've recieved emails selling watches supposedly sent from my email account and had several friends have this occur also.

James - cool, thanks. Shouldn't there be something included in the email message that indicates its real domain?

Presumably Outlook should attempt an SPF lookup to see if the sender is allowed to send from the domain, but Outlook might not be that smart and assumes you'd never email yourself legitmately.
