Hutch Carpenter
I, like perhaps you do, have a daily google alert on my name. Notice that single tweets are starting to make it into those alerts lately.
How do i set one of those up, Hutch? - Mathew A. Koeneker
Mathew - just go here, and put your name in (I use quotes around mine): http://www.google.com/alerts - Hutch Carpenter
Nice if your "Hutch Carpenter" or "Mathew Koeneker", but if you're "Mark Stevens", you may as well be "John Smith". Everyone needs to give their kids really unique names now (and squat on the domain too). - Mark Stevens
Mark, that just means you have to work twice as hard. Try being Peter Kim. - Peter Kim
Thanks, Hutch for the tip! - Mathew A. Koeneker
Oh yeah, I got the Google juice flowing now. :-) - Mathew A. Koeneker
btw Hutch I mentioned your name the other day, but it was in a presentation and screencast. presentation is here http://vimeo.com/5407512 screencast here http://vimeo.com/5317872 - Keith - @tsudo
both mentions in gratitude for you showing how friendfeed entries show up in Google - Keith - @tsudo
Really? Thanks Keith - let me check those out. - Hutch Carpenter
Yep, same for me too! But doesn't catch all tweets though. - Samuel Driessen
For another way of doing this try using a vanity/branded room on Friendfeed. Setup searches via Google, Twitter, Backtype, and pump them all into one room. - Keith - @tsudo
@keith thats exactly how i do it. - Carlos Ayala
I like these tips. Thanks, ya'll! :-) - Mathew A. Koeneker
