I also saw some amazing interactive Dome presentations and some clips from DomeFest at the Glendale College all-digital planetarium. Wow!
The interactive Planetarium capabilities are also stunning. We flew from the surface of earth to the outermost edges of the known universe.
It's all powered by 6 projectors w/ 6 synchronized computers running Windows and DirectX. Realtime 3D rendering of 1000's & 1000's of stars!
The screening of the Dome short film "Crossing Worlds" By Eric Hanson and Greg Downing of xRes Studio was stunning. Congrats, guys!

@Scobleizer Pivot is not Win7 only. Aero-capable Vista or Win7 will work fine. I've heard it also works in VMWare.

Some folks are having problems using Flickr page URLs with www.seadragon.com. The photo permissions must be set to Public. #seadragon #pdc09

@adamhill Copy the URL from a Flickr page of a specific photo. Can't use a stream/gallery URL; we don't know which photo to use. #seadragon
www.seadragon.com now makes zoomable images from Flickr photo page URLs, finds the best photo and gives attribution and source links. Cool!
