The term “non-relational persistence” now Google's very well and I am detecting the use of the word “legacy” in connection with relational databases! As Ghandi said, “first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win”. I think we are now in stage 3 of that progression. Pass the popcorn.

The Law of Fives states simply that: All things happen in fives, or are divisible by or are multiples of five, or are somehow directly or indirectly appropriate to 5
The Law of Fives is never wrong.

WTF?

Singurul avantaj in cazul asta e ca...

"Second, there is a network of blood vessels which nourish the cells in your retina, the back of your eye where light hits. The weird thing is that these vessels (and afferent nerve fibers) are in FRONT of your photoreceptors. This is why you have a blindspot - that's where your optic nerve goes through to your brain, leaving a spot that can't detect light."

"Who’s always pregnant? Niger is Fertility Champ with its women producing an average of 7.19 children each. Malaria removes 20% of the tots, but Niger’s population still expands at a 3.49 annual population growth (PG) rate, good for 6th place behind Liberia, Burundi, Afghanistan, Western Sahara, and East Timor. Liberia’s population will double in 16 years, in Niger it’ll drag out to 20."

"By generation 20,000, for example, the group found that some 45 genetic mutations had occurred, but 6,000 generations later a genetic mutation in the metabolism arose and sparked a rapid increase in the number of mutations so that by generation 40,000, some 653 mutations had occurred. Unlike the earlier changes, many of these later mutations appeared to be more random and neutral."

The dome covers the 30-foot (9 meter) deep, 350-foot (107 meter) wide crated created by the May 5, 1958, Cactus test. Note the people atop the dome.”"

"Let me tell you something about progress. 40 years ago man walked on the moon. Today the US air force doesn't have a plane that can as fast (mach 2) as a commercial airliner you could buy a ticket for 10 years ago (The Concorde). The world highest flying plane, the U2, was designed 50 years ago, in less then nine months, a fraction of just the delays of the 7E7. Some one said the best thing that ever happened to the US space exploration was sputnik. It was a PR disaster that pushed the US in to the space race and mankind to the moon."
