"Tellurium was discovered in Transylvania (today part of Romania) in 1782 by Franz-Joseph Müller von Reichenstein in a mineral containing gold and tellurium. Martin Heinrich Klaproth named the new element in 1798 after the Latin word for "earth", tellus."

8 TV movies series (1998-2003) deserving whole your attention. Straight navy historic adventures with real wood vessels and real cannons. First comment on imdb: "Okay, these movies should fare good if these were on the big screen. Well-written adventure stories about a handsome young hero going out to save the British navy from many problems. He knows his duty and he's one of the most clever officers in the British navy. The actors and actresses also have the British accent and feel to prove it. Their remaking of the Indefagitable was wonderfully done, spectacularly! Hornblower pulls off some clever stunts. The brutality of the conflicts were done well. Ioan Gruffudd is excellent at the character of Hornblower himself! He's one brave fellow!"

"Fraud of a different nature occurred during prohibition in the United States, when wine production was illegal, as grape merchants would sell "bricks" of grape concentrate across the United States along with a packet of dried yeast.[1] The bricks would come with a helpful warning label cautioning people not to mix the contents of the brick, yeast, water and sugar in a pot and then seal such pot for seven days, or else "an illegal alcoholic beverage will result".[3]"

""The deluge of information had always been there. We're just starting to understand it now. And even if we don't understand it, we can at least build representations. If we don't understand the numbers, we can understand that these numbers exist.""

Glad to learn something new, about something I thought there is nothing else to learn. I got into it reading an article having a 7 words title from which 5 I did not understand.

"I stand firm here now At this ship's prow But I'm a proud captain no more I rule this crew with a heavy hand But they are but ghosts And I feel only the biting rain On my face at most There are great powers here But I can't wield them I am no god, can't bend the elements to my will Though I've prayed to the lords of wind and rain All around me remains Still"

Traderul a cumparat 7,13 milioane de barili intr-o singura noapte, dupa ce a baut mai mult decat putea duce."

"These talked of major disagreements over the cancellation of Microsoft's exciting Courier tablet (video above - courtesy of Engadget) with the two men apparently keen supporters. That said, Microsoft is unlikely to air its dirty laundry in public so we may never know."

"Britain’s Margaret Thatcher exclaimed: “Twice we’ve beaten the Germans! And now here they are again!” The French stuck to their cold war mantra: “We love Germany so much that we’re glad there are two of them.” The Poles were fretful that their postwar borders might come up for grabs — again. At first only Spain and Ireland welcomed German unification. East Germany’s own revolutionaries — the dissidents and Protestant pastors who led the decisive street protests in fall 1989 — had no intention of uniting their newly liberated country with the mighty Federal Republic."
