@mattcasters If you don't like the OSBI report, why did you acquire reprint rights? I think it's you that can't believe it, not us.
@josvandongen What "little mistake" is that?
Monkey tweet, monkey twoot.
@josvandongen I'm afraid you lost me there, but @timoelliott apparently got it. Must have a blond moment right now.
Finished last speaking gig for 2009. Running low on words now.
Andy doesn't need any snow. You can have my portion.
Seit wann ist denn plötzlich alles "spannend"? Einladung zu einem "spannenden Termin". Was für ein Quatsch.
Up and down, up and down... received a Christmas email wishing me a "yoyous holiday season". Where is my yoyo?
I really like the personal touch of Christmas emails addressed to "Dear Andreas (Andy)"
Going on stage in 10 minutes at HP Software Universe in Hamburg, talking about BI trends, technologies, and traps.
Random thought: If you build your data warehouse inhouse, how do you get your data outhouse?
Feels kinda weird to stay in a hotel in my home town. Then again, with my kinda travel, my home often feels like a hotel.
@Storymaker Wieso, magste kein Rex Goldi?
@heidischall Klar ist das Talent. Man könnte aber auch einfach nur "strike" sagen.
The Don rulez. RT @NeilRaden: The magic of trees, from Donald Knuth: 2009 = (1/2 +3) x (4 + 5 x (6 x7 + 8x9))
Dinner with HP at Seepferdchen in Hamburg harbor. Tomorrow, first time to have a speaking gig in my home town.
@yojibee You are watching GZSZ? Please, don't you have something better to do, like writing some ABAP?
Lombardi becomes Lo-IBM-ard.
@M_Myers The better anagram is actually Lombardi = A Lord IBM.
@vtri All good fun indeed. With Lombardi's marriage to IBM, it looks like "Bridal Om". http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram...
Is a firewall in the cloud a firecloud? Or does it produce firerain?
@heidischall Ha. I showed my Nespresso machine to John. He loved my Ristretto and went to heaven. With my Nespresso machine.
What is this strange bright light up there in the big blue thing?
@TomRaftery Linkedin had made it very cumbersome to create groups while Xing already had lots of social groups (local, photo, cooking, etc.)
@TomRaftery Xing is not a German network anymore, but I'd assume that 50% of all members are German.
@TomRaftery Xing had grown quickly (as OpenBC) in Germany and looked to others like a German network, so they stayed away, went elsewhere.
@TomRaftery Early OpenBC was German throughout, despite the fact it had English or Spanish UI options. Hardly any non-German ppl or content
@TomRaftery I would agree that Xing has much more traction in German-speaking countries than the rest of Europe.
Happy Birthday, Ludwig van.
Bad, that is very baaaad. But funny. RT @alecsharp: RT @bitterer: Happy Birthday, Ludwig van. //AS I've heard he's busy decomposing.
