You make it really hard to care when you refuse to consider change and insist the way you see things is the way it has to be. If your thought process is making your life harder and causes you pain but you aren't willing to even try reframing, there's nothing I can do for you.
Because there's nothing about myself I'm unwilling to change if it'll improve my life and I no longer want to be around people who aren't as committed to growth.

Life is hard. Really fucking hard. I don't want to be around people who are content to be miserable about the shit that's optional.

Some people validate their relationships by how others react to their bitching. Changing their life to have less to bitch about would lead to them no longer having a way to validate those relationships. They don't really want your help or for their situation to change (which is why they don't make the effort to change), they just want your sympathy so they can tell if you really care about them or not. Personally, I find relationships with that kind of person to be rather toxic because I am the kind of person that cares too much and goes out of my way to help others. And when someone doesn't really want to be helped but acts like they do, it's painful and frustrating to watch them suffer. Something about leading a horse to water but you can't make them drink...and then watching the horse die of thirst.
