@CWhoa thought of your SoMe ? @davewiner: Example of NYT reporter tapping into the creativity and reach of the net. Yay! http://twitter.com/andyloc...
my thoughts on the webtrends wrap of a MAX train: weak sauce, especially your half-assed defensive tactics in the comments of bikeportland
HA the 'irony' RT@roadtax RT BikePortland:I was hoping to not have to write about that silly Webtrends/MAX ad about bikes paying road taxes.
Editorial: Marketing campaign asks the wrong question - http://bikeportland.org/2009...
well Jonathan, I think the marketers are successful, getting the 'bike media guy' to cover this extensively on bikeportland and give TV interviews. It also fits with the general ethos of bikeportland: get traffic by pointing out how the divide between bikes and cars is a false one. I'm beginning to think there is a divide, but it's around acting responsibly or not. I'll go think about this more and blog later. . . - bjamin

There's a New Thicket in Town! - http://blogtown.portlandmercury.com/Blogtow...
Thank you to the Portland Mercury for this astute criticism of our sorry-ass daily paper, The Oregonian. The Mercury has never struck me as being a source for actual coverage of any event occuring in the real world, but this blog is a completely different story! Full of speedy coverage (sometimes WillyWeek wins, but if I were betting, money is on blogtown) which time and time again points out the bias from various sources of authority. I figure it's written by the same writers as the paper version, but for some reason blogtown is easier to digest. - bjamin
@bikeportland re: bike tolls? last time I checked, there wasn't that much congestion on I-5 bike path, maybe rush-hour toll on Hawthorne?

I like the reporter (who was it?) who just said "tomorrow people will pick up a newspaper or see this on TV tonight" how cute.
