The age of the barbarian is upon us. Again. Yes, Conan the Barbarian is one of two “updates” of well-established 1980s titles due to hit theaters this weekend. The character was created by Robert E. Howard back in the 1930s, but casual fans are largely familiar with the 1982 film incarnation of the muscly warrior, where he was portrayed by the little known actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
