"I think it's very possible for robots to detect how to pick up/interact with certain objects today. Certainly not as good as a human, but they're making progress. Check this out: http://www.technologyreview.com/Infotec..."

"Awesome! They're really starting to get these bots interacting with the world... I like how the robot figures out which way to pick up the phone (it rotated the arm and gripped it along its long sides.) Soon we'll have little robots running around in the city performing tasks for us (think iRobot)!"

"It looks nice and all, but it has no practical use. No one would put this on a production website for the simple fact that 50% or more of their visitors would not be able to see it as was intended. Unfortunately, the brutal reality is that if this is what the sitemap is going to look like, the implementation on a production website would use twice as many elements and CSS classes to accommodate IE."

"Don't digg this... The AddIt button included the hash which messed up the URL... I'll resubmit this in a few days when this one has died out."

"I want a machine you just press a button to get a plate and fork/knife/spoon then you just insert them again when you're done with them and then it washes them. That would be like the ultimate solution."

"Personally I prefer the technology Hitta.se (Swedish search engine) uses for their 3D maps. It takes high resolution aerial photos of a city taken from several angles and uses algorithms to match them together into a 3D environment. Works surprisingly well, actually. You can try the 3D feature out online here: http://www.hitta.se/3d... Just check the checkbox in the white box and it'll go to the 3D map. Java is required."

"I live in Sweden and we've had 3G for quite a while so it's both cheap and fast here, and coverage is generally very good. I use my mobile phone as a modem for my laptop when on the train and with my Samsung phone I would reach speeds of 500-600 kB/sec."

"I'm kind of disappointed at the actual hands-on demonstration... The UI is just as "unsmooth" as its predecessors... Where's the fading and rotation and responsiveness shown in the CG trailer? Even Windows Mobile managed to pull off a smoother interface in their latest version..."

"While this is definitely a step in the right direction, I'll be holding on to my N95 8GB until the next version of the N97 is out. It's certainly a good phone, but I'd be willing to pay an additional €100 for better camera, OLED display and a more compact design. Also, does anyone know if this supports 7.2 mbit/sec HSDPA or if it's the same as the N95 8GB (3.6 mbit/sec)? That's always been bugging me since there's a huge speed difference between my N95 8GB and my Samsung phone that has 7.2 mbit/sec."

"Now that they've potentially found the length of a pixel, it's not long until they realize we all live in a world simulated by computers :O"

"Does anyone know how to enable the JavaScript debug console on the Windows version? On a Mac, you would do the following: % defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1"
