Actually it's the DivX plugin that uses it apparently.

Yeah, the tools can actually do that as a pipeline - shouldn't be too hard to get it so that it does it on the fly.

Irony: One of our Firefox top crashes on the mac is WebKit. It's like they are out to get us.

No, not really. Windows and Mac flash crashes basically mask out almost everything else.

I was wrong! Our top crash is now Quicktime, which has the same signature as the Google Talk crash. Apple takes the lead.

That would still be cash flow positive into Mozilla.

In crash news: the Google Talk plugin has overtaken Adobe Flash as today's topcrasher, but the race was close. Quicktime was in there, too.

Nice. identi.ca already supports geolocation in the browser. Love how fast they iterate.

My phone slows down more often than my computer - I reboot it more often - daily, usually.

Sorry, Fedora 12. Fedora 12 boots faster than Windows 7, too, which is nice to see.

Maybe. But honestly my x200s with an SSD starts Fedora 11 and Windows 7 faster than my G1 boots.

Also if you're running Chromium betas you should be running 3.6 betas as well - 3.6 feels (and is) faster than 3.5.

Actually, he (and others) have x301s - highly recommend those as well. The x200s is a little smaller but it's missing stuff too.

Unsure about boot time. You boot a lot? Are you a single issue user? Just wondering.

The File API spec by Mozilla's own @

is an easy read. Most of it will be in Firefox 3.6:
