So true - BLOGBloke
Oh thanks. Yeah, some of the most obvious ideas elude us until we write it down. Sometimes that's why I blog, just to remind myself of something, put it back in my consciousness. Writing it down puts a more indelible imprint on the mind. - Stephen Pickering
Some of my posts started out that way. Blog on! - BLOGBloke
ISNT blogging all about making people to express themselves in a written form? If there are rules for doing so, and constraints to satisfy, it is like thinking inside Jack's box. - TrafficBug
Trafficbug, I agree. There really aren't any rules and shouldn't be. Rules hamper the spontaneous impulse. The cause of "writer's block" is when the writer brings in the critical factor before the lyrical factor has had free reign. So I say let the lyrical factor go first and then after that one can step back and maybe get ideas from others on what may improve it. But it still must be the writer's choice, like a painter trying different techniques and colors. The point is not to hamper the originality but maybe flesh it out with different techniques to enhance it, if possible - Stephen Pickering
