Good advice if followed right. But can seem spammy if not followed right. And if just one room admin sees your post as spam they can delete it.

Nice list there but you missed the original blog tips blogger

BlogBloke, Oh, where is that Group's URL? Yeah, Bruce, it definitely needs to be in the right topic Group and be related. Also I think the more inline media you can put in their, or description the better so that folks can make a better decision as to whether their interested in it or not before they click. Oh that brings up another spammy topic. If one posts to these multiple groups and someone is subscribed to them all, will 10 of the same messages come streaming across? That wouldn't be good.

If you only post one time the people only see one item, just like with this one.
- Bruce Lewis
Thanks Bruce, yeah, that's what I thought just looking at my own stream, but thanks for confirming it. That would have been a deal breaker.
- Stephen Pickering
Oh thanks. Yeah, some of the most obvious ideas elude us until we write it down. Sometimes that's why I blog, just to remind myself of something, put it back in my consciousness. Writing it down puts a more indelible imprint on the mind.

Some of my posts started out that way. Blog on!

ISNT blogging all about making people to express themselves in a written form? If there are rules for doing so, and constraints to satisfy, it is like thinking inside Jack's box.
- TrafficBug
Trafficbug, I agree. There really aren't any rules and shouldn't be. Rules hamper the spontaneous impulse. The cause of "writer's block" is when the writer brings in the critical factor before the lyrical factor has had free reign. So I say let the lyrical factor go first and then after that one can step back and maybe get ideas from others on what may improve it. But it still must be...

Followers who just follow me on twitter without getting into any type of conversation is useless. I wish my followers to interact with me. Trust me we will both will gain something instead of losing anything .
I did, and then I heard a song I liked and had to see what it was, then I had to look up controls for the iTunes visualizer, then I heard another song, and It's now been an hour and a half. LOL

Had plenty of people contact me asking how on earth can a site be taken down when it has not done anything wrong. Here’s some sobering news for anyone that owns a domain hosted in countries that recognise the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, your site can be taken down by anyone who is willing to sign a DMCA complaint, swearing they are the copyright owner. That’s right, anyone who is willing to perjure themselves can take your site down.

Quick question: I have a post, a recipe, from when I first started the site. I have better pictures to add to it (two years later). The original page has few comments and few inbound links. To avoid duplicate content, do I just edit the post with new pics or do I create a new post with the new pics?
Heather, False info on duplicate content is really out of control! The truth is that Google doesn't care about duplicate content, but I'm not here to argue that point now. What I wanted to do was give you a link to a webinar Lynn Terry did yesterday with Karon Thackston who is a well respected SEO copywriter. Here is the link, it's totally worth the time to listen to this. http://www.selfstartersweeklytips.com/media...

This is another URL shortener providing an additional service. Yes! Bacn.me is a new service that has come to the market with the intention to help you making your URLs shorter. You can do this to use a URL on different popular social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. In this way you will have the chance to put together links you can share with you friends or let them know what you want.
