"Researchers discovered women feel most confident and happy with their love life and body shape shortly before they reach 30. It is also the period in their life when they enjoy the best sex – but the happiness is relatively shortlived.Because by the time they have turned 30 they start worrying about growing old and developing grey hair and wrinkles. A spokesman for home hair colour brand Clairol Perfect 10, which carried out the study of 4,000 women, said: "Everything in life hits its peak at some point, and nearly reaching your thirties isn't so bad now. "The age of 28 has been pinpointed as the time in a woman's life their hair looks the best, body shape is at its peak and confidence is at an all-time high.

"According to the results, women are happiest in their career at 29 and most content with their relationships one year later at 30, despite having the best sex at 28. But all is not lost for the over 30s, as women feel most content with their financial situation at 33 and at ease with their home and family life at 32. The research found two thirds of women feel they age more quickly...

Man, I'm screwed. It's all downhill from here. (wife just turned 30) :->

What BEX said...and we're still in our 30's. :)
- Josh Haley
Won't know till I get there, Kevin, but I have high hopes =) You know what grinds me about this article? They're saying ladies are happiest at 28 and all their reasonings have to do with how they look. Forget that...
- FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
ffenigma: of course they are, it's a survey by a beauty products company.
- Bill Kinney
Meh to the article. My 30s were way better than my 20s, which were just fine. And I plan on rocking the shit out of my 40s.
- Ayşe E.
You are right Tina. It is all a load of bollocks!. True happiness can happen at any time, if you have your health and a good state of mind. Look at all the 'beautiful people' who end up so unhappy because they chased so called 'perfection'.
- Kevin J Hatton
28 actually was one of my worst years. Try again, Telegraph.
- Melissa
Yeah, not so much. Gained 75lbs that year. I think I could have lived my whole life without that year.
- Jennifer Dittrich
28 was stupid. And sorry folks, but I'm not thinking the surveyed any black women. Black women don't worry about wrinkles too much. But other than that just in general -- I think If the research was done in UK there's a totally different attitude than in the U.S. anyway.
- Lynne d Johnson
I will never understand how these papers can publish another silly survey every single day and get the same outrageous reaction.
- Richard Lawler
Then they marry and it's downhill happiness from there?
- Diego Barros
The 30's have been the best years of my life :)
- Penny
Ok, so if I listen to this. I have one year to look Fantastic, and one other year to be incredibly productive, and then I'm screwed?! Yes, and next you'll try to sell me the Brooklyn Bridge for a dollar.
- Nimabeckie
perhaps i am unique, but i find this most definitely untrue.... at 52.5 yrs i am happier than ever. happiness from within grows with us in years. women who say that they were/are happier at 28 may be looking from a shallower reserve. the mention of hair care could be true...for i have been continually caring for my hair at home from about 28.
- Magdalena Bailleres
It didn't work for me. I was more depressed with 28. And I'm worry with grey hair and wrinkles since ever! :|
- Bibi
Hey, I'm 28. So.....is this it? Hope not. I'm fairly content, but I'm not where I ultimately want to be.

"Your smell. Deeply personal yet very social, it says so much about you. And now there's a social network for your nose, a friendspace for your fragrance, a place to share your opinions on perfumes and vote for your favorite smells. We call it smellr and it's online now."

A lot of the Western tweets regarding Iran I'm seeing are doing more harm than good. We cannot spread rumors -- they're not useful to the folks inside Iran. The worst thing I'm seeing now are tweets about making weapons.
Iranians are far more acquainted with war then we are -- we needn't tell them how to do battle. The Green leadership has repeatedly called for non-violence. And militaristic outside prattle gives credence to government claims of foreign agitation.
- Chris Baskind
BTW, I don't mean discussion amongst ourselves. I'm talking about broadcasting rumors as fact on Twitter. Robert has been talking about the tanks rumor, for instance, but he's not telling Iranians to dig tank traps in the streets, nor presenting it as gospel.
- Chris Baskind
Is the Iranian internet community really paying attention to us westerners anyway? I got the impression that the bulk of their traffic was in Persian with a few interfaces to update us and exchange proxy info. I would think they are weeding out poor info on the other side of the language gap.
- Shane Trammell
David Brooks (http://www.nytimes.com/2009...) has been conveying a good perspective on this, IMHO. He noted two things: first, that the signs at the protests were in English, meaning the message was for US. Second, we in the West like to think we have a strong point of view, but there are tens of thousands of local authorities of all sorts of ideologies on the ground over there and we shouldn't expect we can shout our perspective over top of all of that.
- Scotty Perkins
Well, I certainly hope the Iranian demonstrators know of our love and concern for them. But they have better info about what's happening than we do, and the help we can offer isn't tactical. As far as proxy info goes, I hope they're only paying attention to known and trusted sources.
- Chris Baskind
Scotty: Yes, the English signs are for the outside world, and it's good to let them know we are seeing them.
- Chris Baskind
We need to help them with guides on how to set up public Wi-Fi network to help them to link up and pass info around
- Michael Mooney
Micheal- I believe the dark underbelly of the internet (The Pirate Bay, Anon ect) have been doing just that and more.
- Shane Trammell
Shane: The impression I had after watching a great number of tweets yesterday was that you're absolutely correct. I get more the impression that those involved have brief moments to tweet outbound information, and may pay attention to a VERY small number of their own friends' tweets. I find it valuable to tweet information of A) Confirmed Events (i.e. w/video) B) Suggestions for Westerners' Action (how to set up proxies, where to send proxy info
- guruvan (Rob Nelson)
to have the Cam setup to catch this action... I'm guessing this is a pretty regular occurence and not a random event. And that means tons of fun for the owner :D

I HATE THIS SITE! They stole my content. I'd beg you to help bury them because I'm sure I'm not the only person they steal content from.

Essentially, everybody gets a cart. You can get different sizes of carts, depending on what you’re going to be producing in your household. And then, the cart is picked up on a weekly basis. You can place all food and all food-related items into it. The food then gets taken off to a composting facility, and it becomes great soil.

"Every day since 1990 she competed with my work. When I picked up a pen, or lately a stylus, she would come running, yelling in cat language that I should pick her up and give her my full attention. She was my forced work break, and there were many. She was my only company for most of my day. Cartooning is a lonely art, but I was never alone. Recently her tiny body started to shut down. But it never stopped her enthusiasm in seeing me. She dragged her arthritic body over to me every time I entered the room, even if I had only been gone for a second. She never failed to purr. I loved her intensely."

Sad :( (I just adopted a kitten from local pound myself, so I can perfectly understand the how inseparable a pet can be. It was awfully hard the last time I have to part with my old cat.)
