Finally got a chance to return to Quicksilver. It's starting to pick up. Stepenson's novels usually take awhile to get going anyway.

Found out this morning that turkey sausage in the microwave expands to twice its size. Three thoughts: 1) Gross! 2) Neat! 3) Why???
