Reason #5 why iTunes DRM sucks: I own the songs that I bought from iTunes store, but iTunes refuses to play them, even thought it tells me my computer is "authorized"...wtf!
Yeah, I had that happen to me a couple of times. There's a way to wipe out all the authorizations from the Apple DRM Servers and start from scratch, but you can only do it once every 1-2 years. Don't ask me how, I can't remember, but it can be done.

Really inconvient. I think its though your iTunes account settings. I re-installed one of my computers a few months ago and for go to de-authorise it. Opps!!!!

all you need to is sign into the itunes store then in the quick link section at the top right click ACCOUNT ..then if you can reset all your AUTH's the button to click will be to the right of where it says "Computer Authorizations" . .hope that does the trick for ya (:

I'm pretty sure you can whack your authorizations and start over once every six months.

I would never buy anything from iTunes. Thank goodness for Amazon.

@Matt... I'm dumping my Treo for an Android G1, so I'll be looking at Amazon MP3

I try to stick to iTunes plus songs. The DRM'd stuff I burn to Cd and rip with WMP.

Jeez, I'm really not awake. I scrolled down my FF page, saw this, and thought it was a popup notification on my own computer and I tried to click "OK".
