@mentalizer Indeed, there it is: the pre-commit hook I always wanted – and it’s built into git. Never saw a blog mention diff-index, though.
@mentalizer My .git/hooks/pre-commit.sample is all about “allownonascii” (using v1.6.5.5 of http://code.google.com/p... )
