"Your comment would make more sense if Twilight Princess didn't just come out, and if they weren't already working on a new console Zelda game with the same art style as OoT/TP? How can you complain about wanting more OoT-like games *between* the release of two back to back OoT-like games made by the same dev team?"

"Protip: Just run straight through the entire angry sun level. The level was designed to be ran straight through with only three or four well-timed jumps."

"I played NSMB for several hours straight at Long Beach Comic Con and it works fine. The spin jump isn't a double jump. It's an alternate jump, similar to the spin jump in Super Mario World, and you can use it on solid ground. It's actually not even a jump, the action of spinning and jumping are separated. If you shake the Wii remote while standing on the ground, Mario spins, and if you shake it while jumping, he spins while jumping. Spinning is also used to fly with the propeller suit and pick up players and frozen enemies. Spinning while jumping functions similar to how it does in SMW, except it doesn't break bricks 'downward' (SMW blocks were different from bricks) but you can break bricks downward by using the Mario 64-inspired 'ground pound' move, by holding the down button while jumping."

"I'm sure only the later levels and side levels are "hard", like how in Mario 3, there was usually a harder world and an easier world and you could choose which of the two you beat to move forward. It's not necessary to beat all the levels to progress through the game. Also, if you die 8 times it helps you get through the level."

"Should read "games look prettier now." There were tons of NES games and even arcade games that could've been described as "art", depending on your criteria for art, obviously."

"You'd think so but try replaying it now. It's exhausting. You start the game and you're like "Yay, fighting Twinrova and saying goodbye to Saria and getting the hookshot!" But then when you actually re-play it at least half of the dungeons all feel so tedious... I can never re-play it without getting so bored I want to give up. The Water Temple is the worst. Also surprisingly boring: The Forrest Temple and Shadow Temple."

"I can't wait for this to come out! I played it at Long Beach Comic Con for about 5 hours straight, it's so fun. I'm glad they're changing the penguin suit and propeller suit to propeller mushrooms and ice flowers!"

"Did you stop reading after the word 'kids'? "...kids, my generation and my old ass parents in the same room having fun together." Your parents didn't want to play your NES as much as they want to play the Wii."

"It always tickles me when gamers try to use their bad judgement to disparage companies on the internet. Like, you lose money on your investment when you sell a console, and hardly get any back, what are you burning chairs for warmth or something? Why would waste money like that. Why would you get rid of an expensive device with a low resale value just to prove a point? "Too late" for what? How is owning an unused video game system an issue for anyone?"

"I actually made it myself years ago for a video game wiki (to which I was pretty much the only editor, though not an admin) and they ended up not using, but I use it for everything. ALSO, I've been "meaning to fix it" for years. There's a logical error in it that drives me crazy. CAN YOU FIND IT? (The two Tetris "L" blocks are actually the same block, rotated, not flipped. OOPS!)"

""Nineteen-day-old ox 'Heart,' born with a heart-shaped marking on his forehead, relaxes at Yamakun farm in Fujisawa, near Tokyo, Japan, Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009." They should name him Benjamoo Button since apparently he aged 19 days in 4 days."

"Hopefully the temporarily full-on democratic congress can pass a civil rights bill that extends to homosexuals, and make it reasonable enough (ie, don't tell churches and boys scouts what to do) that when our neocon overlords resurge they won't be able to tear it down with flimsy "pro-traditional-values" excuses."

"I'm pretty sure iPhone-like products and the Kindle are going after two totally different markets. Pretending they're not is just fodder for nerd commentary."

"FFX had a terrible love story. How is it even a good love story? They just walked around fighting the government/monsters and fell in love for no reason."
