For there was once upon a time a concept of brand position. Today, brands must stream their values and watch them change with audiences. The values alone are of no use - it's what can be made of the streams that is - and that means they have to be openly and freely commercial for anyone to use (Ref: Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike).
