Interesting but I wouldn't say I "like" this post! Question might be better phrased as relating to appraisal criteria for destruction. I'm sure archivists have an opinion. While closing them to new entrants might be fine, I just can't see what the value of deleting these lists would be.

There's a problem with the usability of Web archives due to the very large number of unused lists. However I agree with you that there may be differing opinions on what should be done - which was the intention of the blog post.
