Brian just changed the worst infant poopy diaper in his life. And that's saying something after changing countless diapers in the last 5.5 years.
I got my Christmas present early. Black Friday was just too much to resist. For $75, I got a dryer repairman to tell me that he had no idea why our dryer wouldn't work and the best course of action was to just start replacing parts until it worked again. Merry Christmas!
Sorry for the spam - I clicked through a link without paying attention and got my account hijacked. All should be well now. I'm an idiot.

Thinking and learning about being a better trainer. Definitely good stuff. Challenge is getting comfortable with the content.
What is it about cars that make little kids have to go to the bathroom? About five minutes after we got in the car each time today Claire had to go...
Brian is watching V. Yes it's cheesy, but so was the original.
@BethEstock one of my team members lent me that book - I agree that it is a good read for any leader.
When will the man in the yellow hat learn that it is never a good idea to leave a monkey unattended anywhere?
The blazers have got to get that foul thing figured out. As in, do it less. #blazers
@kellyrfeller enjoyed your talk. Appreciated your positive approach to a somewhat hostile (or just uninformed) crowd.

Speaker this morning talked about difference between "calling" and "craving" at work. Confusing distinction that just made me hungry.
Conference speaker this morning is on public service as a calling - should be interesting.
About to watch the OSU/USC game. Hopefully the Beavers can play as well (or better!) than the ducks today.

Brian read quite possibly the worst book ever tonight...again. Barbie and the Diamond Castle - reads like it was written by a drunk, illiterate monkey whose first language was Russian. Keep your daughters far, far away.
Managers - you shouldn't have time to manage how your emp's work. Instead manage their performance. Manage what they do, not how.
If you're trying to improve your organization's leaders, how do you know when you're getting more (or better) leadership?
Brian is a little disgusted - Sarah saw a mouse in the kitchen. Hopefully the traps will work before the kids wake up in the morning.

Why is showing actual leadership so hard when the basic concepts are so, well basic??
Work goes much faster when you remember to save your work before you close the app.
It is really disappointing how hard it can be to get things done.
I'm continually amazed by the inefficiency possible in a finely tuned bureaucracy.
Brian is thankful beyond words that Caitlin has decided that sleeping through the night before she is a year old is a good thing (unlike her siblings).
Brian is enjoying his last day of family leave.
