But you know the rule: back up first. Just in case Apple proves me wrong again. It's happened before ^_^

I did need to reinstall rEFIt after upgrading to Lion because I had an older version. Partitions were unharmed, though.

Listening to a George Carlin album and debugging. Not a bad way to spend my morning.

All right. Got home & got fresh !ubuntu install up to date. Let's see if the sleep / hibernate script works better.

I've pondered setting up a tunnel, but so far laziness has won out.

Big-L Lazy. I don't want to lose precious slack time because I'm staying late fixing a mistake.

True enough, but I've just applied the laziness towards learning other things. My job, for example ^_^

It's frustrating. !Identicurse is my preferred client, but it's not an option since they tightened the work network.

Hm. Rather than sleeping, HD spins into overdrive. Methinks the script needs some tuning.

Testing identica -> twitter connectivity. This is a reply, and should not be forwarded.

Seems that way. Near as I can tell, the Web client is working as I'd expect it to. That pleases me.

I had it working at some previous install. But since then it's been pretty normal, yeah.

Installed Ubuntu on the laptop again. The only novelty here is that this time I opted for single boot.

Curious if anybody knows of a decent iOS !identica app. Statusnet seems slow, iDent is rather twitterish. Mobile Web is ok but not great.

Hm. I `use Modern::Perl 2012;` as POD says in !perl 5.14.2, it complains. I `use Modern::Perl "2012";`, it's fine. Checking other Perls now.
