Wow. Checking out Friendfeed after just about a month on Twitter. I like it! :) Friendfeed is much like Twitter, except it has comments and "likes" - it's basically what Facebook is trying to copy. I just call the new Facebook the "twitter clone" because few people outside of the geek world know what Friendfeed is. However, Friendfeed is very powerful, and does very nicely what this new, drunken Facebook is trying to do.

You can group together your friends into "Lists", you can join Groups - some that let you post, some that you can just comment on, and you can save powerful searches that really cut through the noise. Oh, and everything on Friendfeed is updated in real time.

You can also setup Friendfeed to bring in your other posts from Twitter, your blog, Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, etc, so everything is shown in once place, and people can comment on them. Twitter come in instantly, but the others have a little bit of a delay.

I'm glad you joined, even if there's not TOO much to do yet... It's only a matter of time before Friendfeed catches on - kinda like Twitter was in 2007. You might have fun searching for things that you find interesting and finding people of common interest.
