What does SUP stand for here?

Spidra: http://friendfeed.com/paul... -- FriendFeed's Simple Update Protocol that's used for allowing sites like Bruce's OurDoings to generate immediate FriendFeed posts when the content is updated. When SUP is down, the RSS crawler eventually produces the content, but it takes much longer. On my WordPress blog, I installed a SUP plug-in, and when SUP is working here, my blog posts (whenever I blog, which is rarely...) appear here instantaneously. When SUP is down, it can take up to 8 hours.
