Hello everyone. Wow. Here I am, giving the last speech in a school that has so much to teach me, and the world. When I first came to Stoneridge, I never dreamed that I would one day be up here with all the ''big kids'' getting ready to graduate. I was too busy thinking about how I didn't know any of these kids, and wondering if any of them would be my friend. I soon got my answer as my new classmate Laura excitedly bounced up to me with a big smile on her face, and said something along the lines of ''hitherewhatsyourname!'' This was only the first taste of the warm and inclusive community we have at Stoneridge. I wish that the whole world could be a community like Stoneridge. We are taught from the very beginning to respect each other and to respect nature, something that is clearly lacking in the world today. We are taught to use our words nicely instead of our hands. If only everyone in the world learned this, there would be no war, no violence, and no bullying. Stoneridge teaches... - Bruce Lewis
