@autiomaa I think codeigniter is lighter and faster. I've used CI in the past with great success and enjoyed the "lightness" of it
RT @QuestOnSecurity http://bugspy.net is a nice addition to a vuln. tracking when you use open source libraries to avoid being exploited :-)
@noelevans Play framework looks promising http://www.playframework.org/
I just generated my #TweetCloud out of 3 months of my tweets. Top three words: stuff, python, site - http://tweetcloud.icodeforlove.com/bugspy...
@noelevans Yep. Seems that finally, years late, A RoR/Django clone has emerged for Java (excluding the bloated grails)
#Clojure. I am starting to like this stuff. Suddenly feels much more fluent and simpler than OO. Takes time for the brain to adjust I think
#Clojure In a sense. It feels like the good old days, when we just programmed functions is C or in Basic. Simple and naive is best
Another wasted day in the office. Modern life..
RT @alastairotter Google Go: A new programming language ... Like C++ and Python, just better (apparently) http://google-opensource.blogspot.com/2009...
@hartsock If no process in the machine need to access to the outside web then the firewall should enforce it.
@hartsock Because a trojan/virus could use it too as an escape port, and send stuff to the outside
RT @stephenminded Python language moratorium accepted - Python won't change the language for at least two years. http://python.org/dev...
@mikaelsundberg But mostly, #Clojure makes me feel like a complete idiot :)
Currently reading http://analyzewords.com/... Cute
#Clojure makes easy things hard, and hard things easy
@lithium Me too. I have tinnitus for 6 years now. Got used to it
Could someone recommend a simple service bus ? There are numerous choices. What do you recommend ?
@jboner correct concurrency between threads in a single JVM, right ? Not across JVMs or across machines ?
@jboner Isn't is EJB all over again ? All this Akka stuff ?
Very productive conversation about #clojure in stackoverflow about the use/abuse of recursions http://stackoverflow.com/questio...
@cemerick Wait and see 100 or 200 years from now. Your grandmother would be able to go to the moon too. True progress is hiding complexity
@cemerick Depends, If programming wouldn't require much thought, we would produce better products more easily. Why not make it for dummies?
@wmacgyver Sure. I don't mind using my head from time to time :) That's why I learn #clojure. To use my head in ways I didn't before.it's fun
Is it just me or is it true that #Clojure requires you to use your head too much ?
