I think the people who play lotteries understand that the expected probability of gaining financial independence in the next week is zero if they don't play, and epsilon if they do :)

But if those same people would explore the opportunity cost, they would see that their epsilon could be slightly greater in another investment. but we're human, so we're driven by our short-term emotional satisfaction.

I have a custom RSS feed set-up and would like to untick, "Display entries as messages (no link)" but when I try and save changes it tells me, "You have already added that account"!!

I know this but I'm just saving changes. Workaround is to delete the feed, and thus all the likes and comments attached it to and re-enter. Not good! :-(

Just to add: I would have to delete everything else I would get duplicates when re-setting up the custom feed. Plus FF doesn't allow multiple feeds from the site URL.

OK, I've just removed the feed and re-added it with the above option unticked. When I go to edit the feed I find the above option is ticked!!! :-(

I have this problem as well. I've tried removing and re-adding feeds, and they just come back with the same options checked. All I want to do is edit how the feed is displayed.

HD is not innovation in television. Being able to key in CNN and have my television change to the right channel would be innovation. We've been back in Atlanta for almost three years and I haven't been able to watch the guide channel long enough to find out what numeric channel is NBC.
