Re: How To Get A Printable List Of Everything In Your Start Menu - http://www.pcmech.com/article...
"It doesn't give you everything in the C:\Users\All Users\Start Menu.  Which in Windows 8 (I'd have to look at my wife's Win 7 machine to check, but I think it's definitely different) points to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu I'm also finding a <symlinkd> being listed as a directory. Now, I can understand if you install a program just for a specific user that it wouldn't show up in the All Users one, but I don't understand why sometimes it's in both, and sometimes it's just in the All Users.  Not that I've actually worried about my Start Menu structure since using Windows 7, the quick find feature just works for me.  But I've seen it where I move a folder to become a subfolder, and the original folder exists, because I moved MY folder, but not the All Users version.</symlinkd>" - Bryan Price
