"The story begins on March 6th, when Sarah decided to come forward and announce to the world that she was pregnant, a monumental occasion for an acting Governor. Republican Governor Jane Maria Swift of Massachusetts was the first sitting Governor in United States history to give birth in office just seven years before, and now here we were once again. Yet, no one could believe the news:"

By the way, Daily Kos blows away Friendfeed for political discussion -- much superior level of analysis, much better informed about what is going on in the world.

@Sean but there are more *diverse* interesting stuff you can find on FF. like this one :) Sarah Palin Pregnancy Decision Flowchart: http://bit.ly/3oCokZ

Chaos -- wow -- that flowchart rather does put the issue in perspective with a minimum of verbiage.

thanks. i've been looking for those photos. but how come the photo timestamp says "Taken on March 19, 2005"? see http://www.flickr.com/photos... must've been the camera settings. in any case, it is being discussed on Daily Kos too - http://bit.ly/3YpSO7

here's another interesting take on this issue - http://bit.ly/3n1QTo - "There is quite the way-beyond-a-buzz happening on the internet over allegations that Trig Palin is not Todd and Sarah's child, but belongs to Bristol Palin and an unknown father. That's not how I've been hearing it for the last few months at all. As a matter-of-fact, I've been hearing that Trig is very much Todd and Sarah's child while Bristol Palin is actually pregnant NOW."

so can we now consider this ugly rumor closed? see: "To rebut rumors, Palin says daughter, 17, pregnant" - http://bit.ly/197hLG

in fairness to Daily Kos, the rumor was from a hosted *diary* in Kos. blaming Kos entirely is like blaming Livejournal for spreading a meme.
