Article obviously more biased toward nerdy, academic open source projects - some of which technically are not CAD programs at all (do 2D detailing function) but are merely 3D modellers (not a "full" CAD program) than toward actually defining CAD in Linux. What about VariCAD? Pro/Engineer WF 3? Doesn't LinuxCAD count somewhere? To be honest, my time and effort wouldn't be well spent with any of these systems listed in this article (I have used a few so I know). None of these will even read a basic DWG file (DXF?? good grief 1990 was like 19 years ago..) Sorry dude, to get decent CAD you need to be willing to show a little respect with your wallet. I know that's not very nerdy or cool, but it does foot the bill for some decent development. Sorry, if this crap is the best you guys want to talk about, then it's definitely no wonder people think there isn't any CAD software for..."
