Have to say, most of what (I think) you would add to RD is fairly technical in nature, and I'm not sure there's a need for a book in that field at all -- after all, the native environment for that info is online. I'd love to see RD turned into a wiki so that it could be extended, updated and periodically re-issued as a new edition... - Bill Hooker

Also agree with RepoRat, you would be a natural choice for editor of a multi-author volume -- which would give you the opportunity to do the intro/overview and a chapter of your own, rather than carrying the whole book. - Bill Hooker

The licensing is not really friendly to an open wiki. I hope they're going to lift the restrictions at some point, though. - Daniel Mietchen
