I Agree with you all, I am planning on buying Windows 7 for my MBP to run in a VM. I don't really think there is a war between Apple and Microsoft. They both need each other.

This is a broad over generalization. The 'perfect' equalizer settings depend on the song being played and the speakers that are being used for reproduction.

There is no "one" best way. Depends on speakers, speaker placement, room acoustics, not to mention personal taste.

The really need to let people set up multiple equalizer settings for each genre of music, then have the equalizer change on the fly.

Joshua - you can do this. iTunes even lets you set per-track EQ settings which sync to iPods and everything.

Herzeleid and Hodson: that's not just a windows thing. they have this on a mac too. it's called "recent items" and it's under the apple menu all the time... certain people have different ideas about how those things should work, which is why I wrote this app.
