@eejay A Twitter search indicates it's probably a nationwide outage.
@shoewee It's not just in south Florida. The data stopped working in Louisville too.
@simplysteven Yep. It seems to be down in a large part of the U.S., if not everywhere.
Day one of simulating complete in the 767 simulator. We're back in the 757 sim tomorrow for day two.
@jetcaptain Yeah--I don't want to be the one who breaks the new simulator before it's officially put into service.
@jetcaptain Years ago I tried to loop a 767 sim at the Boeing training center. I thought it was going to jump off of its mounts.
I get to fly our brand-new 767 simulator tomorrow.
@egid But it avoids confusion with the other thing they say, "Taxi to holding position, runway 27," which means to taxi to and hold short.
@puneet @egid "Line up and wait" isn't ambiguous at all, and it's what they say everywhere outside the U.S.
My annual recurrent training starts tomorrow. It's not something I look forward to, but it never turns out to be a big deal.
@puneet The G3000 is the coolest thing I've ever seen. I wish they made it for airliners.
@Jason They should have taken off clothes instead.
@AtomicT I was starting to suspect that!

Flying two legs back to PHL tonight, which is never fun. At least there's a relief pilot, so I can take a break. http://jetrecord.com/routes...
@askacfi Does the U.S. just want standardize and use the same terminology the rest of the world uses?
@Montaignejns Yeah--which one isn't a fraud?
@FlyNFast Women love a "bad boy." I think this Q-Tip/scissors thing might work for you.
RT @mlanger: The way I see it, H1N1 could be how we weed idiot anti-vaccine kooks out of the population base. Too bad about their kids, thou

Myskystatus.com doesn't seem to have done anything. I just arrived in Cologne, and there's no trace of my flight on Twitter.
now using MySkyStatus - http://myskystatus.com/
I'm trying out myskystatus.com on a flight from PHL to CGN tonight. I'm curious to see if it updates at all when we're mid-ocean.
I love when a jumpseater calls my room 12 hours before departure to ask the hotel pickup time. It's not like I might have been sleeping.

I have to go flying at night, in the rain! Yikes.
@johnfbraun And it probably would have been wiser not to have messed around with Jim.
@MaxTrescott The 767 has an alarm that goes off if there hasn't been any pilot input to the FMCs, autopilot, radios for a while.
