Horses for courses - do you really care they unfollowed you? If I get sick of politics (or anything else) I hide the bits I don't want to see or ignore it. And go to the 'No Politics Allowed' FF room....
- WorldofHiglet
Isn't unfollowing and making a statement about it a political act. Hmm.
- Micah Wittman
from twhirl
when it comes to politics . you don't have to agree , you do have to listen , that's the whole point
- Carl Backstrom
Bond laughed. "When I'm...er...concentrating," he explained, "I never have more than one drink before dinner. But I do like that one to be large and very strong and very cold and very well-made. I hate small portions of anything, particularly when they taste bad. This drink's my own invention. I'm going to patent it when I can think of a good name."
- Carl Backstrom
@favorited first time i watch it, i like the special FX, but when i was watching this movie second time, i think what a boring thing they released at all. it's just for spending time, once.
- ideali
I haven't seen either movie, the second was straight to DVD right? Isn't it part of a trilogy?
- Joe Dawson
the second was released in theatres, at least in Russia. And there is the Twilight watch book, so it might become a trilogy. and we all hope it won't
- Peter Fedin
give them time they are all focused on #080808. They can not be as agile as us. How can they follow the cloud, when the cloud doesn't know where it is going yet.
- Jonathan Ferguson
Isn't anyone thinking of the CELEBRITIES? Damn news media!
- abacab
the problems Georgia and Russia have been well know for awhile , ever since the Rose Revolution. Kinda why Georgia wants to join NATO , so Russia doesn't invade them....... oh wait
- Carl Backstrom
Looks like we are back into 19th century "spheres of influence" politics. You'd think after the Cold-War everything would have been peachy.
- Stephen James
Its also funny that twitter reports are faster than the AP now.
- The Dude Dean
The Dude - that's nothing new. A mailing list I was on heard about 9/11 before the media did.
- Earle Martin
"Was pretty good. I wasn't a big fan of the green curry , but the pad thai was awesome. There are alot of dishes from northern Thailand which I've never seen but plan on trying sometime."
- Carl Backstrom
serious is a real pain not being able to use the IM client
- Carl Backstrom
No, but they are claiming on Get Satisfaction that they're almost done a complete re-write of the Twitter IM engine. However, they're going to stabilize their other aspects of the service, such as web and the api, before releasing IM again so that they don't have to immediately take it down again. :/
- Chris Thomson
I couldn't even watch a quarter of this. What a class act. One thing though, this guy no more represents the left than Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptists represent the right. He is seriously on the fringe.
- Michelle Martinez
Except to get attention, I fail to see why anyone in their right mind would do such a thing. Disgraceful. The only thing this guy represents is "crazy."
- Vince DeGeorge
Like Michelle's great comment, just goes to show we have plenty of loons on the left.
- Chris Reed
Space Balls Movie: "Have we stopped yet?" *dizzy* - after Rick Moranis (Darth Vader) slams hard, head-first, into the front his death star space ship after going to "Plaid" speed!!
- Susan Beebe
"There wolf, there castle." "Why are you talking like that?" "I thought you wanted to."
- Daniel Andrlik
I give you these 15! (Crash) Oy.... 10! 10 Commandments! For all to obey!
- Chris Reed
The whole scene with Michael Winslow in Spaceballs. But especially when they walk over and he keeps speaking into the intercom: "I'M HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE RADAR, SIR!" "You don't need that. We're right here." He repeats it without the intercom mic and it still sounds the same. Then Rick Moranis loses it, and rips the mic out of the console. I laugh. Really hard.
- Mark Warren
@Chris Reed - Isn't that 20 (Crash) 10!? Or My Memory's been dented real bad.
- Yuvi
@Yuvi... Nope.. 15... Another great History of the World moment for New Testiment fans...: Judas: No. No. Leave us alone! Comicus: All right, all right! Jesus! Jesus: Yes. Comicus: What? Jesus: What? Comicus: What? Jesus: Yes. Comicus: Jesus! Jesus: Yes. Comicus: What? Jesus: What? Comicus: You said what. Jesus: Yes. Comicus: Nothing.
- Chris Reed
My Little Cousin liked the "Only a Miracle can save us" part. I was scared letting her watch it, with her only being 14 and all... Thankfully they cut out "some" parts... ;)
- Yuvi
Dr. Frankenstein: "Igor, would you give me a hand with the bags." Igor: "Soitenly, you take the blonde and I'll take the one in the turban...rrrrrrowr" "Stop that, I'm talking about the luggage." - Young Frankstein, one of the all-time best

I can't remember the exact quote, but I always tell my teenage daughter that Spaceballs is a highbrow movie because it references Kafka.
- Ontario Emperor
@Ontario - the Kafka quote is when Col. Sanders says "Prepare for Metamorphosis!" Dark Helmet replies "Ready, Kafka?" great line
- Adam Cohen
from twhirl
@Cecily Walker - yeah, that's a favorite of mine too!
- JA Castillo
It was said by Henny Youngman, but I wouldn't doubt it if Brooks wrote it: "Chemist! I say, chemist! Have you seen a pack of Trojans around here?" - History of the World, Part I

uh no oil companies might run things bad/profit but i can tell you who will run worse
- Carl Backstrom
Someone made a point that the government makes a lot more off of gasoline than the oil companies do. I haven't confirmed this, however.

"This is one of my favorites Korean BBQ's in vegas the staff is great, it's open 24 hours. I really like the Kimchi and Hangover soup dishes, and the BBQ dishes are awesome. Plus the bar right next…"
