"Is it? Yuk, not again… I need to find some time to straighten out the wrinkles in the importer that deals with the Armory XML. Might take a while as I am spending all my waking hours on paid client work these days. Time-wise, unemployment and having no clients was better for my own projects. ;)"

Stichworte: bar lounge biergarten

"For me, clearly TwerpScan.com, a Twitter contact list management app, deserves an #appwhateverdayitistoday mention. Of course, I've built it, so… *cough* ;) An official app directory would be appreciated, but of course it'd need to be professionally curated."
- Carlo Zottmann
"Ah yes, I see… You've found a flaw in TwerpScan — the following/followers count is only updated when you sign in using Twitter. So if you stay signed in, and your counts change outside of TwerpScan, the app won't know. To fix it, just sign out of TwerpScan and in again, so the new numbers are fetched. The automated update (without signing out/in) is on my list of things to do. Thanks for the kind words, by the way! Glad you like it. :D PS: It's "Carlo", with an "o". :)"

"Danke für das nette Review! Zum Thema Sprache: Mehrsprachigkeit ist auf meiner (langen) Todo-Liste, und wird in den nächsten Wochen eingebaut. Mit Deutsch fang ich dann natürlich an. ;) Gruß aus München, @Carlo, der Mann hinter @TwerpScan. http://twerpscan.com/info..."

Hey Carlo, we built hi.im over the weekend for Rails Rumble. We had 48 hours with a hard stop on codign. We'll be fixing bugs and adding more features soon. Thanks for the feedback.
- Ryan Kuder
Hi Ryan, I didn't know that! In that case, it's impressive, and I apologize for the (c)rude critique. Chris Messina called it a competitor to DandyId, and the site itself doesn't say anything about how it came to be and in what timeframe etc., so I kind of expected everything in working order. Know what I mean?
- Carlo Zottmann
I know exactly what you mean. When you're building on a deadline like that things slip through the cracks. We weren't expecting the uptake that we got. We're working on a blog and will be updating early users later this week on what's going on. Thanks for hanging with us!
- Ryan Kuder
TwerpScan gives you the ability to dynamically analyze who you follow and who is following you across almost every data point that is tied to a Twitter account. What’s really cool though, is that you can sort Twitter users across multiple dimensions at once. The data you can use to sort by includes: Screen Name, Name, Followers count, Following count, Ratio of Followers to Following, Number of Tweets and Last Tweet.

Love the column names "F'ing" and "F'ers."

Jared, I knew someone would. I certainly do myself. ;)
- Carlo Zottmann
Carlo: I see your the developer of the site. I randomly came across it today on http://www.lazyfeed.com/ and had to write about it on The Next Web. I love the site, great stuff! Keep me in the loop on any future developments.

App looks good. Too bad it's telling me "We're sorry, but something went wrong. We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly."
-
It's working now. I would make this a Fluid window

Good to hear, Outsanity. The server got kinda flooded last night, heh. There was a lot of traffic all of a sudden. ;) Sorry about the issues, tho.
- Carlo Zottmann
I wonder if I'm alone on this but do you think a option to report someone as spam could be added? Good or bad idea?
-
Actually not a bad idea… could you post it on http://twerpscan.uservoice.com/, please? Don't even have to register there. It's just easier for me to figure out the most wanted features this way.
- Carlo Zottmann
BTW, I've just rolled the new user drilldown feature! In the big table, look for the looking glass icon in each row. Click it! :)

Tried to use this, but it says there was an error when I try to login. Wanted to blog about it :(
- Rahsheen ™, Coach of FF
Rahsheen, sorry to hear that. Very rarely login won't work, and I'm still looking for the root cause. I'm working on it, tho. For the time being you could try logging out of Twitter and in again and retrying. Apologies for the trouble.
- Carlo Zottmann
Yah, can't get into this thing. Dies when it tries to redirect me back to the application. Wanted to blog about it. :(
- Rahsheen ™, Coach of FF
It does the same for me at the moment; Twitter's timing out. If I had to guess I'd say it's a DDoS fallout… not entirely sure yet what the cause was before that. I'll drop you a note once I (think I) got it sorted.
- Carlo Zottmann
Mike, I just shot you a heads-up via Twitter: I've implemented stand-alone drilldown pages. Here's yours: http://twerpscan.com/info... — and here's mine: http://twerpscan.com/info... . If you want to look up another user, either click the current user's name in the headline to change it, or go to http://twerpscan.com/info... and enter it there. It's just a first shot at the moment, but I'm having plans for more. Let me know what you think! :)

This is where my open source sensibilities slams against whatever business urge I have left in me... I have a small command line tool named twerp that people are using but I don't really promote - should I send a friendly "hey, nice name, but it's too close to mine" note to the TwerpScan folks? Or just ask them to only use TwerpScan and not Twerp?
It's a word which can be found in the dictionary, too, so… sorry. ;) I didn't know your tool when I wrote TwerpScan, but we're both not *that* original after all, hehe.
- Carlo Zottmann
oh hi - just sent an email saying that also - just wanted to let you know to avoid confusion. Really don't want to stir up any trouble or get into any. I'm liking your TwerpScan site immensely and hoping that my in-progress Twerp web client can be that snazzy when it starts.

"But what to do if you want to support 5 different [OAuth] services today and more in the future?" This looks like a neat alternative to identity relay services like RPX or Clickpass.
