Excuse my harsh language, but FUCK YES. I can't even begin to express how incredibly relieved I am to finally hear an US president (elect) to acknowledge the science and not just make the case for the fight against global warming, but to say "no time to waste, let's get to work" in clear and undeniable words, while including the rest of the World.
Now let's hope the rest of his administration and the country rally behind him. - Carlo Zottmann
Well done, this shows one way Obama is clearly planning to use his public image to sway voters into pressuring congress. - Adam Posey
the technology and reach is well done agreed, have to disagree though that we should dump billions into "house that UAW" built ... the business model is all wrong - Daltonsbriefs
Well, there are some philosophical arguments that dumping the money into the autos is the wrong idea, and one might argue that allowing the autos to bankrupt is better. However, it's become clear the the autos do not respond to demand from consumers, so I'm all for someone forcing them to make their cars more efficient, more affordable, and more practical for today's consumers. - Adam Posey

"I really like the art of this strip. It feels different than the usual style (which I also like, but that's not the point). Did it just come out differently, or were you trying something new? Curious." - Carlo Zottmann

"The kind of regulations they are looking at" are those imposed by Bush for "overtly political" reasons, in pursuit of what Democrats say was a partisan Republican agenda, said Dan Mendelson, a former associate administrator for health in the Clinton administration's Office of Management and Budget. The list of executive orders targeted by Obama's team could well get longer in the coming days, as Bush's appointees rush to enact a number of last-minute policies in an effort to extend his legacy. - Russellreno
“Steve, the change.gov blog service in this room isn't picking up the new entries @ change.gov. Looks like they've changed the RSS URL, it's http://change.gov/rss-blog now. Could you adjust the service, please?”
PS: The first person to make a "Change We Can Believe In" joke (related to the URL _change_) will be forced to take a Palin staff job. - Carlo Zottmann
“Is it possible to add the new Change.gov RSS feed as source to this room? It won't get any more official than that, I think. http://www.change.gov/index.ph...”
