If you have tons of pics to print for albums and such (+/- 100 - 300 images), would you be inclined to print them all at home or create a photo book (via iPhoto or MPIX or Blurb, etc)?
Depends. If you're really into scrapbooking, I'd say do it at home. But I'm not, so I prefer just having a book printed - it has a bit of polish and professionalism you can't get with a photo album and its plastic sleeves.

No scrap-booking type stuff; just old-fashioned photo albums. Trying to weigh my options as printing at home is starting to cost a bit (ink and 4x6 papers add up fast!).

You might also want to think about the stability of home printed images vs. professionally printed stuff. Usually you want these photo albums to last, not? Alternative 3: get the individual images developed and still do the composition into the album at home, with your loved ones, a couple of bottles of good wine. Everyone can add comments and drawings into the album. Much more fun, but maybe more expensive (depends on the wine ;))
