It still makes me giggle seeing US folks complain about petrol (gas) prices. Here in the UK we're currently on £1.20 per litre (or around £4.54 per gallon). At today's £ -> $ rate, that's somewhere just over $9. Diesel is even more, at £1.35/l (or just over $10 per gallon).
