ma al momento della prenotazione online non c'era scritto il costo totale? Ho lavorato in quel campo e di solito i clienti che prenotavano online arrivavano con un voucher ove c'era scritto trattamento, date di soggiorno e costo totale e altre info.

Michele è successo anche a me, per ben 2 volte. Con booking il prezzo può essere superiore a quello applicato normalmente. Infatti dopo le proteste hanno aggiunto un bollino verde (sempre su booking) che garantisce il "minor prezzo" possibile.

Ho prenotato 2 giorni con fa tramite Booking.com un albergo a Praga pagandolo 40 euro in meno che su altri posti (tipo Budgetplaces)... non mi fate spaventare!!! :-D

viaggio da anni con booking e il prezzo finale è sempre riportato sulla prenotazione. Non viene modificato. Se poi, prenotando direttamente alla struttura i prezzi sono minori è un altro discorso (e mi capita di rado, solitamente con booking risparmi rispetto alla prenotazione diretta).

Pur assolvendo (parzialmente) Booking.com spero che facciano presto piazza pulita di questo (e magari altri) albergatori che non si atengono alle regole sottoscritte per il servizio .... Di gente. Che distrugge la credibilità della rete e dei suoi servizi ne abbiamo già in abbondanza ..

ma booking promette il prezzo migliore? se non lo fa, direi che l'importante è pagare quanto scritto sul voucher (cmq sempre doppio check tra prezzi della struttura e prezzi della struttura via booking, per sicurezza)

appunto, hai fatto bene a ricordarmelo i phon a muro con le relative prese elettriche scoperte erano NELLE DOCCIE se schizzi un pò troppo non so come potrebbe andare a finire, tra l'altro (sostenevano) di averlo ristrutturato da poco, comprese le camere nel seminterrato (!) :-)

Siccome lavoro in questo settore vorrei dire anche la mia. I modi di rispondere del direttore sicuramente non erano molto cortese pero il fatto sta che lui deve pagare anche una commissione che può essere da 10 per cento in su. Quando si prenota direttamente in albergo molte volte è conveniente perchè l'albergo poi offre un prezzo migliore. Naturalmente è più impegnativa la procedura...

il problema qui è la credibilità dei servizi online, e se io pago di più online (con la crisi che c'è) ti garantisco che non andrò mai più su Booking.com ed affini ma farò come facevo una volta prima di internet. questo però significherebbe la fine delle vendite su internet ... quindi a mio avviso serve una disciplina per evitare che albergatori "furbetti" greino discredito anche per chi opera correttamente e con tariffe limpide ed uguali per tutti !

mah. ovunque nel mondo con booking.com strappi normalmente prezzi decisamente minori rispetto a quelli che hai telefonando direttamente all'albergatore... testato personalmente... (ma anche a venezia in quet'albergo... http://www.palazzostern.com/ ). La storia delle commissioni mi sembra francamente una troiata. se hai un canale commerciale in più, che ti fa vendere più camere di quelle che venderesti normalmente, è normale pagarlo. Come avere un commerciale che vende e non riconoscergli la commissione.

no un 3 stelle ... pensa che hanno pure delle camere "nel seminterrato" (guarda i commenti su Booking pensavo che esagerassero invece) cioè ti danno una camera "sottoterra" con la finestra che arriva a malapena al marciapiede, praticamente come i cinesi stipati nelle cantine a milano ... ma l'ufficio di igiene un giretto da quelle parti non l'ha mai fatto?

Quello che succede è per entrare A Far parte di QUESTI portali di ricerca Hotel, se il direttore per riempire una camera vuota usa Booking quel 20% se lo deve togliere dal prezzo di listino, altrimenti fa un listino Booking, o altrimenti si tiene la camera vuota, ecco perchè sono contrario all'utilizzo di Expedia, Booking Trivago fanno soloi loro intereesi, portano via il lavoro alle ADV Plinio

Ovvio che non deve costare meno IN GENERALE, ma se scrivi "miglior tariffa garantita"; allora sì. (tra l'altro la miglior tariffa in questo momento è 58 euro. Michele, non è che avevi prenotato una tripla? ;-) Comunque quello che non si capisce dal tuo post è se gli 80 erano quanto avevi pattuito su web, oppure se sul sito ti hanno detto 65 e poi ti sei sentito chiedere 80.

no ho pattuito 80 sul web e poi ho scoperto che la vendevano a 65, alla mia richiesta di allineare il prezzo mi hanno detto che io dovevo accollarmi la "commissione" di booking.com e che era giusta perchè (parole testuali del direttore) "loro mica sono fessi da pagare le commissioni per la prenotazione, quello è un costo che spetta all'utente" mitici :-(

@Patricia But what's sad about your point and our society is that these types of people are in demand in the first place. I know people love train wrecks, but the type of entertainment people are currently flocking to isn't of that kind - it's more of an obsession over content that is easy on the brain and doesn't make people have to think too much. @brad, that's the price of low barrier of entry. the machine will do what it does (stuff them down our throats until we deem them famous) -- it's just that in a low barrier of entry market it means just about anybody can be what the machine uses. In other words, our society is only responding as it does -- do you think it'd matter if it were a train wreck or Reese witherspoon? it does not. it's all about how visible something is to us. If anything, we're sad to be duped.

the only real "bubblegum for the brains" style TV I have been able to watch has been WWE. I've never been able to get into soap operas, (un)reality TV (I still can't believe people don't get that the likes of big brother are scripted! Not scripted in the sense of they have lines, but scripted in the sense of "You need to make a drama out of something"). I'd rather go to a pub and sit in the corner with a drink and watch the antics of real people unfold than watch that drivel!

@Jason, trust me. I know the feeling. The formula is always the same though so it's easy to see. It's sometimes referred to as "boy band strategy" because it's how hits like New Kids on the Block were created way back when. Next time you see someone like Meghan Fox everywhere, look for her movie opening, same with TV shows and the "famous for nothing."

Those talk shows no longer have guests on them for the sake of getting to know the person, they're nothing more than a tarted up advert for their latest offering. Just count how many times they mention the new release during their stint.

@brad, if my work succeeds, i will do just that, hopefully. but i think the bigger focus needs to be on showing the public how they're being duped so they don't buy it and it no longer works. PS -- E entertainment recently did a poll and found like 90 something percent of its audience did not want to see Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt at all. Now E has banned them.

@Brad My interest in WWE waned as the attitude era fizzled out and the on mic talent replacing the likes of steve austin, chris jericho (I know he's back, and actually doing a fine job as a heel) and the rock just weren't up the snuff. Yes I knew it was fake, but then I didn't watch it to find out who was winning which belt - the belts are pretty much inconsequential to the over the top plotlines.

@patricia well, I'm attempting to do my bit as well. I've given up on TV for the most part and watch a lot of podcasts now. I even produce my own, which really could do with more than just myself writing for it. There exists a small number of people who finally get how crap much of TV is now, but it pales in comparison to the numbers of those still trapped by it.

Personalmente io ho sempre apprezzato che mi si regalasse un libro, piuttosto che altri regali socialmente utili. Di moda adesso: la trilogia di Twilight. Oppure: Calvino, Il Barone Rampante. Tutti citano il cavaliere inesistente, ma secondo me questo è meglio. "Cent'anni di solitudine" e " l'amore ai tempi del colera".

Ragazzi, sugli audio libri sono un po' conservatore. Già una ex-tamarra vive ancora con l'auricolare sparata nelle orecchie e le dita scatenate sugli SMS. Credo, che un po' di relax di semplice e utile lettura le farebbe bene. Sui sudamericani ero orientato assai......ma devi avere una visione della vita più trascendente, IMHO!

Poi ho provato per caso e mi sono resa conto che un libro letto da un attore, con le pause di un attore, con la voce e i toni di un attore, è un'esperienza diversa dal libro stesso, insomma, è un'altra forma comunicativa. Antologia di Spoon River ed il CD di de André. Io ai miei figli per la promozione li ho portati fuori a cena, uno ha 17 anni. ieri abbiamo visto transformers 2 al cinema, in libreria si è comprato il Silmarillon, ed ha finito di leggere qualcosa di Pennac che nn ricordo.

saga di twilight o la nuova raccolta Danze dall'inferno e passa la paura. Essì, gli adolescenti amano i vampiri....Altrimenti l'ombra del vento di Zafòn...Un classico ormai. Se le piacciono i gialli-thriller Crimini italiani è una raccolta di racconti dei migliori autori italiani.

@xlthlx, Calvino mi piace molto, ma in Una notte d'inverno un viaggiatore ho trovato fin troppo pretestuosi i capitoli dedicati alla storia. Per me doveva rimanere un puro gioco, senza dover per forza narrarci sopra una storia. Ma, ovviamente, de gustibus. ;) / @kika23, purtroppo De Carlo mi manca. Qualche anno fa stavo per prendere Due di Due, ma prima di uscire l'ho lasciato il libreria per non mi ricordo cosa, forse un Bukowski. Rimedierò, prima o poi.

legge Pavese (fantastico!)... ma la Morante l'ha già letta? "La storia" e "l'isola di Arturo" sono due grandi libri... Sugli audiolibri posso dire che mia figlia 16enne è impazzita per "donne dagli occhi grandi" di Angeles Mastretta letto da Lella Costa e comunque legge anche per conto proprio. Una cosa non esclude l'altra

lo so che è fuori da ogni range, ma l'uso che ne fa la Nasa (e la crescita d'interesse che questo uso ha prodotto) a me ha colpito. Non sono un'azienda con dei clienti, ma in questo modo "fidelizzano" secondo me, un pubblico non specialistico

a me vengono in mente tre tipi di situazioni completamente diverse, a seconda se per azienda si intende una delle PMI che rappresentano il 95% in italia (<10, ma anche <30 dipendenti), le cosiddette medie (i casi migliori) e la grande azienda (che fino a pochi mesi fa tendeva ad usare in modalita' 1.0 anche il web 2.0). Se poi per azienda si intende "azienda straniera" o "azienda americana", ah allora... dillo subito!

Virgilio, le telecom fanno caso a parte per tante ragioni, ma ci sono aziende con milioni di clienti che hanno dirottato parte degli investimenti dai call center telefonici all'ascolto e alla risposta su internet (email e social media) e non sono poche :-) significa, dal mio punto di vista, che si può migliorare, se lo si vuole.

I don't feel like I "own" my data. And by that, I mean a physical copy. With Blogger, I could FTP my posts to my own server. With FriendFeed, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Google, etc. it's mainly all stored on their servers. To get a copy for myself, I'd need to use their APIs to grab a copy. Otherwise, if they go down permanently, it's all lost in the cloud. (Apart from online caches and backups in other services.)

Fragmentation. I never know where to post somthing (Twitter, FriendFeed, Facebook) and I never know where to comment (on the source blog, reply to tweets, comment on FriendFeed or Facebook). Sharing stuff makes the fragmentation even worse. If a handful of people share something I've written, trying to keep up with the conversation is a nightmare. Back in the old days, people would just email a link to the original copy to all their friends. That used to keep the conversation in one place.

so true Nicholas. I was speaking on a panel about social media for HR professionals last night and only about 10% had a Twitter account. Education and evangelism is needed. People, especially the boomer generation (who still have their hands on the leadership and pocketbooks of these companies) aren't up to speed yet and it's a tough curve for many of them.

Per la cronaca noi abbiamo fatto una biblioteca aziendale con molti testi. Successo bassino. Alla fine dovrai prendere il libro e poi fargli l'interrogazione come a scuola perché lo leggano. Forse sarebbe effettivamente meglio un database sulle presentazioni di slideshare, post sui blog ecc, più dinamico. Ma perché un libro, solo uno e per tutti? Non è detto un solo titolo per tutti, potrebbero essere 3 o 4 titoli "mescolati" tra un centinaio di persone. E' un gift di fine giornata per una giornata-seminario dedicata al marketing digitale. Sono già previste le slide, delicious, slideshare e tutto, ma credo un libro sia un buon ponte tra la cultura analogica e quella digitale. Se non fossero di qualche anno fa sarebbero perfetti Cluetrain Manifesto e/o Naked Conversations: visionari, di scenario, autorevoli.

I think most Twitter dislikers dislike the hype around Twitter because they think it doesn't deserve it, or they wish they'd thought of it first.
