"Yeah. I pretty much gave up on Google Music. I'm going to give iTune's Music Match service a try. I read a bit about it and it seems like a legit way to import MP3s from 'unknown sources' into a useable library. Otherwise, Pandora is still my go to music player."

"Yeah. I guess that's the big gamble when you acquired by a large company. They can either pour massive amounts of resources into your software or shelf you altogether."

"Hmm. I actually did. I guess it is worth trying again. Thanks for the glimmer of hope. :) Carlo Ethan <ethan@hotmail.com<mailto:ethan@hotmail.com>> (unregistered) wrote, in response to ccostan: It was a clean install on vSphere 5. Did you try that? "Ethan, Did you install your AppSpeed into the 5 environment fresh or was it a 4.0 install that was inplace upgraded? I wasn't able to get AppSpeed 1.5 to register against the vCenter 5. :("

"None that I know of. There might be some hope once it is out of Beta but I suspect it has to do with Digital Rights Management and licensing agreements with the Music companies so I'm thinking the chances are pretty slim for official support."

"You are right Ryan - According to the support Matrix, even 4.1 U1 is not supported. In my labs though, I didn't run into issues until moving to vSphere 5. Thanks for the update. Purple Screens of Death are NOT GOOD. I completely agree with that one. :) Hopefully there will be an update that brings this great product back into support."

"Thanks Peter for the additional information and confirmation. Hopefully, this will be a welcome addition to more and more hardware platforms. I thought it was pretty cool! :)"

"Hey Amir, I looked at Roku briefly but it's lack of AirPlay support kinda took it out of the running pretty quickly. With the proliferation of all the iOS devices in the house, I felt like Airplay was too cool of a feature to give up on. TED channel *IS* very good and is also on the Boxee. AppleTV can play TED Podcasts via iTune as well. Good Stuff. CARLO."

"Hey Alan, The Boxee Box can also stream your movie collection over the local LAN. There isn't any local storage on the Boxee Box itself. It does include 2 USB ports if you want to use local storage but mostly everything comes across the network. So you can go with the Boxee Box and just build a big Striped RAID'd file server to serve it all up. :) Have Fun! CARLO"

"Andy, You are Correct! :) I've used it now for a while and really dig it. The Cross browser functionality is great. I'll prolly be going premium soon enough."

"Sounds like a cool device Jordan. It would be even cooler as a Virtual Appliance running on a Hypervisor. (And if you have it as a Virtual Appliance, send it over for me to take a look at!) :)"
