The fact is that we are only halfway there. Reached that that point, Android, WebOS, QNX et al. will all be commodity os.
Android as a business moat is only half there. The real target is to have only web apps, to prevent competition&store lockin in in-app ads.
Apple (and LG) is as much a target of IP lawsuits as Google, but noone claims them to be IP thiefs.
