Started with a sofe throat yesterday morning. That doesn't feel as bad today but now I just feel stufy and groggy. Hopefully this will pass in a day or two as well. I have an odd craving for bacon though. Hmmm.

Ok, most of the ladybugs have gone. A few scouts still watching the house. They thhink I don't see them but I do... yes, I do.

Shannon's first birthday today. The big party/picnic starts at 3PM. Running to the store for the last odds and ends then have to set up the tables/chairs/tents, a bounce house, ladder ball, get out the food... what am I doing on facebook?

Wow, so GWB's term actually lowered the world's expectations of the US so much that Obama can win the Nobel Peace Prize based on what he HOPES to accomplish? C'mon, I like the guy too but isn't this jumping the gun a bit? Heck, this is like starting to run before the rest of the runners have even signed up for the event!

Also met a couple from NYC vacationing in the area. Spent over an hour chatting with them over some more wine in the art gallery. This was our week out, next weekend is all about Shannon.

Dinner ended up being at Flow. It was a GREAT night. Good to see you Christopher Wolfe, even if it was brief.
