Geeze, you mean protecting the people of the United States is complicated and hard? Do people really think that previous administrations kept secrets because it was fun? The naivete is shocking.

Oh, the irony: "I guess when Obama says this stuff, he doesn't really mean it. And that gives me hope." Too bad it's really so damn serious.

Sometimes Cuban's posts are incoherent babbling. But not this one. He's got a great point. I was just arguing with someone who thinks the way to fix the economy is to invest in massive public works ala FDR. Wrong. The way to boost the economy is to encourage and enable small businesses and entrepreneurs. The power of technology advancement, particularly the Internet, will enable small businesses to have huge impacts. And big companies need to be motivated to act as entrepreneurs too.

I didn't tell this story to Raymond, but I might as well have: I had this exact experience many years ago. I've since stopped taking candidates to sushi all together. Too bad, because I love sushi especially when Bill pays for it.

My 8800GT went bad on Sunday night. HDNW replaced it today for free. Then I saw this. Now I wonder how long the replacement will last. The first one lasted about 9 months.

Good to know. Because I'm probably going to return my iPhone 3G so I can go back to my old phone. A BlackJack II that ACTUALLY FREAKING WORKS.

I have the Core Black Yellow and love it. Julie bought it for me for Christmas (or was it my birthday?) last year. It has a *great* countdown timer that is super easy to use when coaching soccer. The altimeter works well, but I've never found altimeters very useful (but fun to play with).

Smart software that utilizes on-premise storage to more efficiently manage downloads will really help here. Of course this is one of the major premises' of Windows Home Server.

I'm holding out for the tablet version. Displayport will be in the dock not the laptop. The dock will be $169 for the dvd version, $299 for the bluray one
