Well it's day 31 - anyone make their first dollar? I did not, still waiting for my first 200 unique visitors to evaluate my first affiliate product.
Hi Jesse, what a ride:) Haven't made my first dollar yet but have learned a ton of stuff to keep using! I encourage everyone to keep connected. Some of us all going to form a team to take the 30 day challenge over in Sept. Come join us if you want, will be making a post in the forum on it shortly.

Sounds good - right now I am working on making some DVDs of the 30DC video training so I can watch them on TV - if anyone is interested I can mail them for cost of postage when I have of them finished.

I just dumped the two ideas I was going with because they weren't holding my interest so now I am back at the SEO analysis stage again - I'm getting really quick at market research though ;)

anyone know how to hide the keyword on a MS screenshot so I can submit it for discussion in the forums or 30 day challenge tv?
You copy the document into a mircorsoft word doc then you click on your table and then a tool bar should pop up at the very top with several pictures on it the first one looks like a mountain with a sun. On that tool bar the 7th icon over from the left next to the small sun is the one you want to click on that then go up to the upper left hand corner of your table and drag it diagonally...

Since I am just now signing up for affiliates- does anyone have a preference: amazon or clickbank?
Hi Nancy...It really depends on what you are selling...Ebooks I would go with Clickbank because your commission structure is so much better 50 - 70% vs Amazon which is anywhere from 5 to 15%. But you can find expensive items to promote on Amazon that will make you a tidy sum..

Jim is right Nancy but we are in the testing phase of our keyword so either would work at this point. Jim are we just looking at click traffic or sales or both? In other words we are testing to see if this is a market to stay in or move on?

Thanks for the advice. I decided to go with amazon because the product choices on clickbank were just awful! I am having trouble putting something on my site that I don't think is good quality. Is it just me?

I know how to do a screen shot but then I don't know what to do in order to send it in. Do I upload to flickr, and where do I send it?

Yes you can upload it to Flickr and I believe when they have a live show send the url to them at the question url they give us in chat

I finally got caught up today around 2:00 mdt and I was exhausted. So I left my computer and didn't look back until now 7:42. I did a google search and I was listed on the first page for Digg.

While waiting for DNS I;m reading what to sell on ebay and where to get it. Anyone want to chime in on what's better wholesale or dropshipping or something else.
If you have your own product that is the best...next would be a dropshipper or better yet finding a manufacturer that will work with you and your own deal..

Warning about $1.00 wordpress plan. I read in the forum that if you click on that option but then click away you can never get that option back which also gives you 50% off membership after 30DC

Shauna. Walmart has a Skype headset with their name on the outside of the package...I think it was $29,95.. We'll guide you thru to get it working...Skype.com also easy. Just sign up for the "FREE" account...I am jimer.sainsbury on skype. Make sure you get the headset with a mic on it...

Hi Shauna, Ed uses Clickbank as it is easy to find ebooks etc. You can use what we learn for anything. Ed will say this again and again "This is a process" You can use this "process" in anything that you do with IM.
I just watched today's videos. He was talking about a book as his affiliate product and creating your own product down the line. My question is for those of you who have done the challenge before, is the 30 DC primarily about creating a clickbank product in the end?

Market samurai is working good this morning - I've come up with 14 markets to research niche ideas for and I plan on breaking those down to 2 niches per market for a total of 28 niches. I tried the manual method of keyword research last night and I've already decided to buy Market Samurai...
glad to hear that Jesse, lol yes the old method is very slow

I've had no luck with Market Samurai yet....Keep getting the error msg about deselecting the SEO traffic filter option to display keyword results. I'm hoping Google finishes their update soon so I can see what it can really do!

Just in case Market Samurai doesn't work for you...they manual method does work as that is what we used last year..There is a pdf you can print out in the training section...
