Passionate about (X)HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL. I am a wannabe evangelist for these technologies. I also love spending time with my family and listening to music.
People around Detroit/Ann Arbor (@nickdenardis @redcrew ...), is the Belleville (Airport) area a decent area to stay in a hotel for a night?
The more i listen to #CapitalCities, the more I realize that #SteelyDan really could be cool & timeless.
RT @aswang: We can't necessarily stop what we're doing to implement the next new shiny.
I had no idea that trying to move a Hyper-V VM was so involved. Couldn't just cut/paste files; had to do so within Hyper-V.
Finally trying to complete the process of offloading my files to a new drive. Never finished it about a month ago when I tried this.
It was a multi-day process to copy all of the files from one drive to another. I completed most of it when I started a while back, but never quite finished. Using SyncBack to synchronize things between the two drives, now. Then, hopefully, I can retrain myself to stop going straight to the old drive when opening/modifying documents, and start opening them from the new drive. - COMPLICATED MR. NOODLE
Crap. Just noticed that I put my new virtual machine hard drives in my old documents folder. Gonna need to move them out to another location; otherwise, they'll fill up my new drive (the old drive is 1.5 TB, and houses all of my documents, in addition to photos, videos, music, etc.; the new drive is only 500 GB, but it's intended to hold only my documents). - COMPLICATED MR. I'm done. Been trying to get into #Crossbones for the past few weeks; I can't. And, just now, when she cut her own finger off; I'm out
You lasted longer than me. I wanted to like it, I really did. - Starmama from FFHound(roid)!
I tried. I wanted to like it. The story is just so "meh", and the acting is, surprisingly, not great, either. It's got what seems like a great cast, but there's no chemistry, and a lot of the performances seem phoned-in. How could you go wrong with John Malkovich and Julian Sands, along with the pretty cool support cast they have? It's almost like they've purposefully tanked it or something. - COMPLICATED MR. NOODLE
No wonder I run out of bottled water so quickly around here. Thing 1 currently has 4 bottles open with ~1-5 sips out of each one.
I'm fairly certain that Vine is the single most annoying app Thing 1 uses on her phone.
There are some seriously sick people in this world.
Starting season 2 of #HemlockGrove. At this point, though, I'm honestly not sure I remember anything from season 1
I'm trying to decide if I'm going to watch. I thought the first season was kinda cool, and then seriously terrible. I'm not sure if it crossed deeply enough into 'so bad it is funny' territory. - Jennifer Dittrich
Hemlock Grove so desperately wants to be Twin Peaks, it's embarrassing. It's also surprising how popular it is despite how terrible it is. Admittedly, it IS funny to watch Jen Lynch go off about it on Facebook every time someone mentions it. :) - Hookuh Tinypants
Kind of like a B-movie version of Twin Peaks combined with American Horror Story, really. - COMPLICATED MR. NOODLE
I think #HemlockGrove must be subsidized by lobbies to prevent cell phone usage while driving.

I wonder which movie scenes would be improved by this. - John (bird whisperer)
The Matthew Broderick version of Godzilla might've been more palatable. - Jennifer Dittrich
I love the fact that they're bringing in a new Donna-like character on #Suits, in Mike's assistant, but no one is better than Donna herself

damn. of course, i see this and i get immediate perfect playback of the entire Rockfod Files theme in my head. i wonder when the Maverick TV show theme will segue in? - Big Joe Silence
I was never a huge fan of Garner; not that I disliked him or anything, I just never got into too many of the things he was in. That said, I do still respect him a lot for his longevity in the business. - COMPLICATED MR. NOODLE

If winner of "America's Next Top Model" really is the next top model, shouldn't previous winners be "America's Current/Previous Top Model"?
America's Top Model Emerita - Pete
Tweet inspired by the "Plaque Psoriasis" ad that CariDee English is doing. She introduces herself as "America's Next Top Model", but I'm pretty sure she won 3 or 4 seasons ago. Shouldn't she be "America's Once Top Model, Now Washed Up" or something, since there have been multiple "next top models" since her? - COMPLICATED MR. NOODLE

Just started season 2 of Once Upon A Time. Really? Mulan? Come on!
Also, what happened to Pinnochio? They didn't show whether or not he was saved when the curse was broken at the end of Season 1. I hope he's okay. - COMPLICATED MR. NOODLE from WinForFeed
So, does #PayPal charge a fee when you use your debit card at an ATM, or are the #Sheetz "surcharge-free" machines charging me $1.50?

Holy crap. Just saw a "People you may know" on Facebook that included a guy that was kind of a bully in high school. He looks suspiciously like Biff from Back to the Future, now.
Anyone here use Zend Studio without using the Zend Framework? Is it a good IDE, even if you're not using the Zend Framework? Any other suggestions for reasonably-priced IDEs that, ideally, might even be cross-platform? I actually use Dreamweaver source-view for most of my coding, but it might be nice to use something more targeted toward PHP.
Just FYI, since I have a .edu email address, I can get Zend Studio for a reasonable price (I think it's $29 for me). - COMPLICATED MR. NOODLE

Brian - Nah, he's used "4" as well (like "I Would Die 4 U"). Not sure if he uses any others, but "2" & "4" are enough. Joe - Nope. - COMPLICATED MR. NOODLE

Stinks that you can't use #CSS to control SVG properties unless they're included inline in the #HTML.
Using inline #SVG in #HTML pages; I'm assuming that SVG code gets cached separately for each page, even if it appears the same on all?
