DAMMIT, MR. NOODLE
Passionate about (X)HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL. I am a wannabe evangelist for these technologies. I also love spending time with my family and listening to music.
While I'm encouraged by the fact that my migration script for moving our site from prod to staging is working without any real errors, the fact that it takes hours to get through all of the data is a bit annoying
Especially since I have to remain connected to VPN while it's running.

Been going for about 2.5 hours already; about two-thirds of the way done.

Aaargh!!!!! My VPN client decided I had been connected for too long, so it automatically disconnected me. I was almost finished with the process, too; but, since the current version of AnyConnect I'm using requires me to restart my computer before I can reconnect, I'll have to start all over again. :(

I don't use Genesis for all of my client sites, but I do use it quite a bit. A lot of it depends on the client and the designer.

Hrm. I would have thought he'd have outgrown this by now, but for some reason, Thing 2 puts his used toilet paper in the trash can rather than flushing it down the toilet. I think it's because he uses too much, so he's afraid of clogging the toilet; nevertheless, it's pretty gross.

One of these days, this backup is actually going to finish extracting so that I can actually do something with it.
Of course, if I'd realized there was a 16 gig log file stuck in there, I would have excluded it from the archive. Once it was gzipped and transferred over to the other server, though, I was pretty much stuck with it.

Checking out the new Black Sabbath. So far, sounds a lot like old Sabbath; wish they'd brought more of the Dio sound forward with this.
They're back to the hard rock type of sound they had throughout most of Ozzy's time with the group, rather than the heavier metal sound that Dio brought into the group.
