DAMMIT, MR. NOODLE
As much as I love Dippin' Dots whenever I have the opportunity to get some, I simply cannot even fathom the idea of paying $30 for a gallon of them to keep in my house.
I suppose that price isn't quite as outrageous as it seems, when you consider that most of us pay around $5 for less than half a gallon of regular ice cream (Bryers', Edy's, etc.) at the grocery store (and quite a bit more than that on pints of Ben & Jerry's or Haagen Dazs), but it just seems insane to drop $30 on a single gallon of them. - DAMMIT, MR. But they're going out of business. You have to get them now, or never have them ever again. (Exaggerated, and I don't really like them.) - Gimminy from fftogo
I saw that they were going bankrupt a while ago, Jimminy; but I wasn't sure if they were actually going out of business (when Kmart went bankrupt, they ended up buying Sears). - DAMMIT, MR. NOODLE
Ah, maybe that's what it is. I was just trying to rationalize it. I added that my other post was exaggerated, because it still doesn't make that much sense to me personally. - Gimminy from fftogo
