Kinda creepy when I can remember going to CES in the early 70's ..... Was one of the only huge shows in the industry (and airplanes still had 'real' first class .... :)

Know you're kidding Mo (I think) but AWESOME lounges in the early 747's actually let you relax on a flight ... then again, prices were regulated back then .... and more expensive (inflation adjusted). Probably worth it though. Major carriers replaced their fleets every 7 or 8 years at the outside. Not big on regulation of anything but think this is one area they dropped the ball ...

I'm kidding :) But the first class flights here in Aus aren't that different from business class

I never got to fly in one of them, but I certainly remember the commercials for the swingin' lounges in airplanes.
