@knifejuggler the effort was greatly appreciated!
@knifejuggler ha ha, amazing!
10 minutes of Star Trek and unsurprisingly my Dad demanded I prove I can still do the Vulcan salute... #reasonswhyimsingle
Kicking myself for taking so long to watch it but They Live has to be one of the best films I've ever seen!
@petermoore I think I know which I'd rather have, plus you get to miss the mass 'oh my god there's snow' hysteria
Home Alone (the 1990 film) is being 'reenacted' on over 20 #Twitter accounts http://twitter.com/HATProj... (via @filmdetail)
@petermoore Hope you're having a great time!
It is time for Home Alone, yes!
@aemms well as usual my choice of film has turned out to be fairly inappropriate, so that's fun. How's yours going?
@ourman ha, very true. Are you back in the UK?
@ourman Couldn't agree more, I'm all for broadening accents on tv, but dear god
@ourman ha, he's done well out of it then.
@ourman I watch it as rarely as humanly possible so I don't know much about him, I can't imagine it's the pinnacle of his career though
I hate The One Show, but my Dad's commentary is good "Look it's that weird nun", & my Mum shouting "Charlotte don't laugh at the afflicted"
@BegbiesEvilTwin Really well, we did Jonestown, Grizzly Man and Thin Blue Line and she took Salesman home. Think we're going to do it again
Roger Ebert's 10 best documentaries of 2009 - http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert...
Heading back to bumpkin land, my Mum tells me I'll be driving into hail, thunder & lightning so that's something to look forward to
Really should stop using my giant mug. I drank 10 pints of tea today... whoops
@emilybell definitely Borough Market, best choice and quality
@kevinthepang Definitely Cook-Pang, has a wonderful ring to it don't you think and would add a certain humour to your byline
@kevinthepang I wish my parents had kept secret nationalities from me, very jealous. If you want to swap I'm totally up for a sham marriage
@brickdoc Definitely agree to all those, I've already made her watch Gates of Heaven and Thin Blue Line. The rest are on the top of the list
@carmattos Thanks, those are great! The new Jose Padilha doc is going to be amazing
@docscene Fantastic choices, thanks so much. I haven't seen In the Dark so will definitely got hold of a copy
@carmattos I really don't know too much about that, but people who've seen Secrets of the Tribe say it's incredible.
@BegbiesEvilTwin One Day in September, and I haven't watched Manufacturing Consent for ages. Thanks for the reminder
I've been asked to show a friend the most important/best documentaries tomorrow. Don't want to just enforce what I think, any suggestions?
@BegbiesEvilTwin Bizarrely I was planning on re-watching that today.
@BegbiesEvilTwin No I haven't but I'll definitely check it out, looks really interesting
@BegbiesEvilTwin I think it might be, still an amazing film though
